Hewlett-Packard Company retained WestGroup for a three-year strategic
communications engagement that resulted in helping its re-named
Test & Measurement Division return to prominence and higher
profitability, second to only the printer division in HP. Working
side-by-side with Agilent Technology executives and team members,
WestGroup created strategic communications plans for five divisions
and then handled the tactical implementation. Not known in higher
education as a choice for laboratory equipment (“HP stood
for Higher Price”), HP now dominates the arena as a result
of one of WestGroup’s programs. The importance: brand preference
developed early stays with engineering customers throughout their
lifetimes! WestGroup helped Agilent build strong media relationships,
position the brand. and deliver messaging, and provided innovative
ideas to cut through the technology clamor and clutter...and
